MARK KOENIG, joined RH Perry in 2012 as an Associate and assumed the role of Senior Associate in 2014. In his time with the firm, Mark has assisted with nearly 100 presidential and senior administrative searches for a broad range of institutions: public and private, four-year and two-year, and religiously-affiliated and independent.
Mark has been a member of the search team that has successfully completed approximately 30 presidential search assignments for institutions including: Alvernia University, Columbia-Greene Community College, Christian Brothers University, Harper College, Indiana Institute of Technology, Metropolitan College of New York, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Quincy University, and West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
In addition, Mark has been a member of the search team that has successfully completed over 65 senior administrative search assignments for institutions including: Alvernia University, California State University (Cal Poly Pomona, Dominguez Hills, Fullerton, Stanislaus, San Bernardino and San Jose State), Grand Canyon University, King’s College, Lewis University, Mount Saint Mary’s University, North Country Community College, Our Lady of the Elms College, and Wesley College.
Mark’s search responsibilities include the development of the executive search profile and advertising campaign, managing candidate and client communications, management of the firm’s proprietary CRM, and conducting due diligence. Appointed Director of Communications in 2015, Mark develops and executes strategic marketing, brand management, and communications for the firm.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Mark previously taught early childhood education and managed customer relations for Stauf’s Coffee Roasters. He received his M.Ed. in Counseling from Ohio University, B.A. in Public Relations from Ohio Dominican University, and A.A.S. in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
