KATHERINE LADD joined the firm in 2011 as a Senior Associate and has been involved in numerous searches for public and private higher education institutions primarily in the due diligence phases of our search process. This involves searching for a candidate’s digital footprint; preliminary reference checking of prospective candidates; subsequent interviewing and referencing of top candidates; conducting publicity checks on finalists through Lexus-Nexus and other internet services and providing written summary reports to our senior consultants.
Previous to this she was a software consultant responsible for recommending best-practices software for non-profit and for-profit corporations. This entailed working directly with clients to troubleshoot and research client software issues, recommend best-practice utilization of applications, user guidance and training, data conversion and post-implementation support. Her career began with the Environmental Protection Agency where she was responsible for developing, implementing and enforcing standard operation procedures set forth by the Federal Insecticide, Rodenticide and Fungicide Act and the Toxic Substances Control Act.
Katherine’s home and virtual office is in Lexington, Kentucky and she is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree in Food Science.
