JUDITH A. PERRY, Vice President, joined the firm in 1996. Judy oversees the firm’s benefit plans and provides administrative support for the senior consultant search teams. This includes production of proposals and executive search profiles; design of print and online advertising and website support.
For the preceding thirteen years, Ms. Perry managed and coordinated Fairfax County Government's Automated Systems Training Center (ASTC) operations, oversaw planning and budgeting for the Center and participated in strategic long- and mid-range planning for the County’s Information Technology (IT) hardware/software and training and worked closely with the Department Chiefs, and Office of Management and Budget. Judy served as the ASTC representative on the County’s IT Training Team, assumed a consulting role to the County Executive and Deputy County Executives, highlighting training issues from a County-wide perspective, developed training strategies, and recommended action and policy.
In managing the general operation of the ASTC, Ms. Perry developed ASTC policies and procedures, oversaw their implementation, and coordinated the provision of training. Judy supervised seven professional instructors and two support personnel. She assisted in the design and start-up of two new centralized training centers. She led a team of trainers in the assessment of county-wide (57 agencies - over 10,000 employees) critical PC software application training needs; approved ASTC curriculum; developed training manuals for 25 PC courses (beginning through advanced levels); and evaluated program outcomes; and recommended changes in program strategy for achievement of goals and objectives for both the Customer Services Department and the ASTC.
Previously, Ms. Perry worked with IBM, as an Educational Services Representative managing IBM Office Products accounts covering Delaware, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. Judy provided classroom instruction and dictation seminars for customers and demonstrated and supported sales of office products.
Ms. Perry began her career as a nursery school and kindergarten teacher at the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford, Connecticut. Judy is a graduate of Endicott College.
